And this control box also has a potting material that goes all the way throughout the box to keep your wiring secure and connected to the circuit board and keep any moisture from entering inside causing corrosion, which gives this one a little bit more robust and durable lifetime.While the Curt has it's 4-pole connector coming out one side, the rest of its vehicle wiring coming out the other side. Speaker 1: Today, on our 2009 Honda Fit, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56011.This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. This is gonna give you all the necessary lighting functions for your trailer. Your brake signal, your turns, left and right, your ground, and your running lights. It's also gonna come with an attached dust cap to help protect your connection from any corrosion.As you can see, you're gonna have plenty of extra wire to get to your trailer. Now, this wire is going to live inside of the vehicle. So when it's not in use, you simply open your hatch, roll it up, and you can store it off to the side or in your spare tire compartment. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Honda Fit- Video
Today this 2010 Honda Fit, we're going to install part number C56011 from Curt. This is going to be Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Now to do our install, we're going to have to get our car ready. Take the floor covering, pull this back and out of the way. Right, now this is our threshold we have to loosen up. It does help to pull the seal away just a little bit to work with it. Go ahead and remove this. more
